ShamsPeter Hayes has been excellent since the beginning until installation. He always kept me updated with regards to the process . Our installation went well and our panels are doing great . I will highly recommend him and Lumina Solar .Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Shams
Brandon WernerI had my solar installed in June of 2023. The whole process was seamless from start to finish. My sales rep Jack Wood was very knowledgeable and as helpful as he could be. The install crew was done with everything in about 6-7 hours in 1 day! They sent a 4 man crew and everybody had a job and knew it well. A week later they sent a final inspector from the company to meet with me to go over any questions/concerns I had and to also meet the township inspector to go over the install and train him on products used! I had 1 small concern about my panel alignment so they sent out the crew the next week to raise the corner of the panels to level them up. My only complaint would be that my production was a about 10% under the projection for the year but obviously that is why it is called a projection. Outside of those 2 things I mentioned I have had no other issues. I have done and will continue to refer anyone who asks about my system to Lumina!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Brandon Werner
Scott A. WalsemanThis past spring I started to explore options for solar power. I spent time researching different companies and settled on Lumina Solar PA. I reached out and within a day had a return call and we discussed my solar needs. Jack Wood then worked up a solar plan and recontacted me about my options and cost. He spent time going over all the details, specs, and pricing. He also offered several options for financing. He then coordinated a roof engineer inspection. Once I made a decision to proceed the Lumina project team took over to handle all the permits, local, power company, and worked to keep the project on track. The installers were the best, really personable and ensured that any and all questions I had were addressed. They completed the install in 2 days. Final inspection was flawless. The entire experience was extremely smooth and pleasant. If you’re considering solar, you should explore Lumina Solar Pa, you won’t regret it.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Scott A. Walseman
charles grebe jri see all the good reviews, where are the true reviews, i got nothing these people promised, i have their solar and still get big bills from met ed, opposite of what i was told, i was told they put a bigger setup on than needed and i would get money from met ed every year for what they used but instead get bills from met ed, and forget about calling salesman, he never returns calls, wish i never dealt with these people, this month, 167.00 out of my account for lumina and 144.00 bill from met ed, more than i ever paid, single man living aloneReview of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by charles grebe jr
Rebecca McCrackenWe had a great experience with Lumina Solar. Our project manager, Alex, guided us through the entire process and made the experience easy. Our system has been up and running seamlessly. Highly recommend Lumina Solar.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Rebecca McCracken
Sue PageLumina Solar recently installed a solar panel system and provided the best experience possible. The entire process was incredible - from initial consultation and design, to permitting, installation, inspection, and activation. The process began with Kurt, Project Manager, who did a great initial consultation and design. He answered all of my questions and communicated continuously throughout the project. All of the other contacts at each step were also fantastic: scheduling (Caitlin), survey (Ty), electrical (Ryan and Jeff), install (Anthony and Deandre), and inspection (Brooke). Also, electrician Chris was present at the final inspection. I highly recommend Lumina Solar for their outstanding customer service, communication, attention to detail, and quality. Thank you.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Sue Page
Dan DelaneyWe had a great experience getting a home solar and battery system with Lumina. Our consultant Peter Hayes did a great job walking us through all the options and helping us select the right system. We appreciated that they didn't put any pressure on us and made sure we understood everything. The permitting and install process was smooth and they kept us informed throughout. Very happy with the result!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Dan Delaney
Rich FatzingerI evaluated a number of different solar companies. Some impressed me. Some did not, but then I spoke with a friend who “strongly recommended” contacting Phillip Jordan with Lumina Solar. I am so glad that I did because my experience with Phil and Lumina was incredible from start to finish. The contracting process was seemless. Their pricing was in line with the other Solar providers I was speaking to, and Lumina actually used a higher rated panel. Lumina handled all of the township permitting/inspection process, which also was a very simple process. When it was time for install, there were 3 or 4 guys who came and installed all 35 of my panels in one day. They were very courteous and made sure I was properly informed and was able to provide input in any important decisions regarding aesthetics or function. My system is now turned on by my power company and it is meeting the performance specifications I was told to expect. Long story short, this has been by far my best experience with any contractor/installer I have ever had, regardless of the type of contractor/installer. I would be happy to answer any questions from anyone considering Solar.Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Rich Fatzinger
Alex MackenzieVery fine establishment!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Alex Mackenzie
Corey DeSimoneI shopped around for solar panels at a few places including Tesla, and none of the companies stood out to me like Lumina Solar. I’m all about customer service, and working with Philip Jordan was by far the best experience I could’ve asked for.. He had answers to all my crazy questions (and there were a lot) and taught me a lot about solar in general, while not being your typical pushy salesman at the same time. He found me the best, affordable price coupled with top of the line products and tech. I recommend him to all of my friends/family and neighbors interested in solar. Lumina Solar all the way!Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lancaster County Pennsylvania by Corey DeSimone
  • Frequently check installing hardware-- tighten anything that feels loose.
  • Look for discoloration or warping on panels, indications of surprise damage.
  • Keep an eye on inverter performance metrics; unexpected drops typically hint at underlying problems.
